Poliform Paris is transformed to host the installation "Le jeu de l'élégance" created on the occasion of the Parisian event.
Poliform is once again present at the Designer’s Days event in Paris, a four-day event dedicated to design that involves brands, editors and manufacturers from the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district. From its address of 33 Rue du Bac, Poliform Paris also takes part in the event that takes place from 29 May to 1 June. The guiding theme of the 2024 edition is “Le Jeu”, directly linked to the Olympic Games that the French capital will host shortly, which participants are called upon to reinterpret through original installations and set-ups.
Poliform, in collaboration with the historical partner Silvera, then staged “Le jeu de l’élégance”: the sophisticated and strategic game of the queen becomes a metaphor for her vision of a refined and timeless home. Poliform Paris is transformed into a large checkerboard that captures the imagination: a black and white checkered tableau covers the windows and large floor surfaces, captivating the eye. This therefore makes space for the “game of elegance”, capable of creating that harmony between rigour and softness, detail and overall vision, tones and materials: a harmonious duality that evokes the very rhythm of the checkerboard.
Poliform Paris also becomes the scene of another creative composition, the one that features the new Outdoor Collection, which is hosted here on the occasion of the Designer’s Days: the Ketch upholstery line by Jean-Marie Massaud, the Magnolia chairs, combined with the Monolith table-sculpture, both by Emmanuel Gallina; and again, the Soori Day Lounge relaxation island by Soo Chan, up to the small decorative elements such as the Azu coffee tables, the Crew vases and the Kamir rug.
To illuminate the setting, there is an exceptional collaboration between Poliform Paris and the lighting company Sammode, which here presents the new Quadratube lamp designed by J.M. Wilmotte.
