A bistrot just steps from Teatro alla Scala, designed to experience the Poliform world
Poliform Café opens in Milan, a welcoming and convivial space connected to the brand’s flagship store in Piazza della Scala, conceived to offer an authentic immersion into the Poliform world. The bistrot is housed within a 19th-century building that long accommodated the artists performing at Teatro alla Scala and has always stood at the crossroads of Milanese art, culture and fashion.
The interiors have been designed by Poliform Lab, the brand’s creative hub dedicated to research and design. The 40-seat dining room is defined by warm tones, essential lines and a refined selection of materials — travertine, bronze, steel and textile boiserie — expressing the distinctive Poliform aesthetic. Many bespoke elements were crafted by Poliform Contract, the division responsible for the execution of the project designed by architect Stefano Belingardi Clusoni.
Open daily from 8 am to 8 pm, Poliform Café accompanies every moment of the day with a menu celebrating the excellence of Milanese and Italian cuisine through seasonal, high-quality ingredients. The wine list features a curated selection of leading Italian and international wineries, while the aperitivo — Milan’s quintessential ritual — is entrusted to highly experienced bartenders.
Poliform Café represents the first expression of Poliform Hospitality, a new company born from the collaboration between the brand and Michele De Liguoro, a leading figure in Milan’s food scene. A new chapter for Poliform, increasingly open to the city, to dialogue with different creative languages and to the creation of experiences that go beyond design.
