Poliform opens a new monobrand store in Stockholm, in partnership with Planoform, in the heart of the refined Östermalm district.
Elegance and compositional rigour: Poliform brings its aesthetic codes to Stockholm, the capital of Scandinavian design. The company opens its first monobrand showroom in the city, a milestone that strengthens its long-standing partnership with Planoform and marks a new phase in the brand’s presence in Scandinavia.
The space is located on the prestigious Karlavägen boulevard, a broad tree-lined avenue flanked by stately late 19th- and early 20th-century buildings. It lies in the heart of Östermalm, one of Stockholm’s most elegant and prestigious residential districts. Alongside luxury fashion boutiques and exclusive venues, the neighbourhood is home to some of the city’s most representative landmarks, including the Royal Dramatic Theatre, the National Library of Sweden and the renowned covered market.
The new Poliform Stockholm monobrand store blends seamlessly with this sophisticated setting. This connection can already be perceived in the architecture that houses it: an Art Nouveau building featuring a distinctive cylindrical corner tower. The store occupies the ground floor, articulated by large windows that create the impression of a gallery permanently open to view.
Inside, the concept translates into a longitudinal layout that invites visitors to move through the space as a sequence of settings, evoking the experience of a museum. From the two kitchens located around the circular room, the path continues through the living and dining areas before reaching the sleeping area, represented by Poliform’s iconic night systems, conceived as true architectures for living.
