Poliform opens a new showroom in Gothenburg, Sweden, in partnership with Planoform.
Following Milan, Madrid, Stockholm and Valencia, Poliform’s European expansion now reaches Gothenburg. Returning to Sweden, the brand continues to strengthen its retail presence across Europe with the opening of a new exhibition space within Corso by Planoform, a leading destination for high-end interior design and exclusive residential projects.
The choice of Gothenburg is no coincidence. Sweden’s second-largest city rivals Stockholm as a hub for cutting-edge design. Home to Scandinavia’s largest port and the heart of Sweden’s automotive industry, Gothenburg has established itself as a dynamic economic centre and a driving force behind the country’s development.
This industrial heritage has inspired a vibrant urban transformation, turning former shipyards, factories and warehouses into contemporary innovation districts. Today, these revitalised areas are home to art galleries, Michelin-starred restaurants and cultural centres. Design has become an essential part of the city’s identity, with an entire district dedicated to Scandinavian and international furniture brands, alongside renowned interior design studios.
It is within this dynamic setting that the new Corso by Planoform showroom takes shape. Spanning two floors, the space showcases Poliform’s furniture and kitchen collections, expressing the brand’s distinctive lifestyle through a complete vision of contemporary living, from living and sleeping areas to kitchens.
On the ground floor, a spacious Phoenix kitchen composition with a central island stands out, alongside the Architectural System, which transforms an open bookcase into an architectural feature providing access to the walk-in wardrobe through the Pivot door.
The upper floor celebrates refined conviviality in true Poliform style. Generous modular sofas create inviting lounge areas, while the dining space features the sculptural Adrien table. A second kitchen composition completes the setting, showcasing the iconic Shape kitchen.
