Poliform takes an active part in the celebrations for the 20th anniversary of Marie Claire Maison Italia.
To mark this important milestone, the magazine has organized the exhibition “Le Case di Carta,” held inside the Mudec Photo space in Milan from 16 to 19 November. The show covers the transformations of living over the last two decades, through five different domestic scenarios.
Curated by Domitilla Dardi with exhibition design by the studio DWA, the event becomes an “extra-large” and three-dimensional version of the pages of the magazine, which open as in a pop-up book. Five residential ideals from the start of the millennium take form, in tune with the new aesthetic and cultural canons that have emerged over the last 20 years. The protagonists are design objects that have foreshadowed or directly brought about evolutions in living spaces. From the “archival home” to the “techno-craft home,” the “performance home” with super-functions to the “pure home.” In the latter tableau, Poliform enters the picture with pieces from the new Outdoor Collection – presented as a premiere at the Salone del Mobile.Milano in April – in a situation that brings out the holistic conception of personal wellbeing and dwelling, a space dominated by the clarity of geometry, interpreted as purity of lines and forms.
