One Park Drive is a brand new development designed by Herzog & de Meuron, the first in the UK by the famed architecture firm. It is the signature building of the new residential district “Canary Wharf Estate” in Canary Wharf, E14. One Park Drive is not just a unique piece of architecture but the new standard for which future development schemes in the area will be measured against. Whilst it is a single, harmonious building, its 58 storeys comprise three elevations, each with its own distinct characteristics.
One Park Drive celebrates its communal spaces. Spread across the ground and first floors, they are all fully integrated into the life of the building and positively engage with its surroundings. Poliform supplied the furnishings for the ground floor communal areas including the concierge, lobby, drinks room and library working closely with the developer Canary Wharf Group to select from Poliform’s vast selection of furnishings that define the luxurious intimacy of the building.
Indeed, the interiors throughout focus on natural materials and finishes with special attention being paid to tactile surfaces. Le Club armchairs, Jane armchairs and sofas, Mad Joker armchairs, Kensington dining table, Seattle chairs, Koishi coffee tables, Ilda coffee tables, Mondrian coffee tables were just some of the furnishings selected from the Poliform catalogue.
