Poliform presents Solstice in Shanghai: an installation by Yabu Pushelberg
Following the launch of their collaboration at Milan Design Week, Poliform and Yabu Pushelberg explore new creative horizons with “Solstice”, an immersive installation presented in Shanghai on November 13 and 14, 2026, at YARD 200. Inspired by the rhythm of the seasons, the installation brings design and nature together through an evolving landscape of colors, sensations, light and sound. Visitors are invited to experience the subtle transitions between seasons in a deeply multisensory environment.
Within this evocative setting, Poliform presents two new creations designed by Yabu Pushelberg: the Lanai bed system and the Aqualuna armchair. These designs become the protagonists of a dynamic, sensory narrative, revealing an evolving identity that mirrors the transformations of nature. Through a symbiotic relationship between objects and their surroundings, Solstice invites visitors to explore landscapes to touch, observe, listen to and become immersed in.
