You quite literally fly across the water aboard the Mangusta 165 REV, the iconic Maxi Open yacht by Overmarine Group.
Defined by dynamic lines and a bold profile inspired by classic sports cars, this yacht perfectly embodies Mangusta’s signature sporty design language. Working alongside the shipyard’s design team, Lobanov Design reinterpreted the classic exterior lines of Mangusta open yachts to create spaces that are brighter, more expansive, and more connected to the sea. Large glazed surfaces enhance the yacht’s visual lightness while establishing a constant dialogue with the surrounding panorama and the water.
The interiors reflect the same sense of lightness, continuity, and linearity found in the exterior design. Created through the collaboration between the shipyard’s design team and architect Marcello Pianosi, the interior concept is shaped by a fluid design approach that runs throughout every space. This vision reaches its peak in the full-height panoramic windows of the main deck salon, which amplify the perception of space and strengthen the visual connection with the outdoors, also thanks to the fold-down side balconies.
It is within this setting of exceptional refinement that Poliform furnishings find their place, creating a stylistic synergy rooted in quiet luxury. Elegant yet highly functional, the Mondrian coffee tables complete the living area, while Sophie Lite seating enhances the dining space. In the chair version, they frame the dining table with understated sophistication; in the high stool version, they become the perfect addition to the bar area.
The interiors are shaped by a soft, tactile design language that continues into the owner’s suite—a remarkable 92-square-metre space arranged over two levels and seamlessly integrated into the hull—as well as the five guest cabins, including a VIP cabin on the lower deck.
