A project with a vibrant, cosmopolitan, and artistic character that perfectly reflects the neighborhood in which it is located. This is Casa Gessi New York, a showroom and inspirational space recently inaugurated in the heart of Soho. Poliform contributed to the project by creating an authentic connection between the showroom, the architecture, and the urban surroundings through a carefully curated selection of furnishings and bespoke solutions that reflect the industrial atmosphere in which Casa Gessi is set.

Located at 214 Lafayette Street, inside a neoclassical building dating back to 1872—formerly a power station and later transformed into a residence for creatives and artists—Casa Gessi New York serves as both an inspiration hub and a representation of the brand’s philosophy, showcasing its most recent and iconic collections. It is a place where visitors can experience the essence of the brand in an environment that echoes a sense of home and hospitality—an ideal that Poliform shares and conveys through its elegant and timeless lifestyle. For Casa Gessi New York, Poliform’s Contract Division designed a scenographic layout of furnishings with bold tones and tactile, industrial-inspired finishes across the building’s five floors, which include exhibition spaces, lounge areas, workspaces, and a panoramic rooftop terrace.
Poliform Contract custom-designed bronze metallic laminate wall paneling, embellished with studs and integrated doors, for the first three floors, and—also bespoke—the kitchen area, six workstations with integrated storage systems, the bar with a fitted wall and counter, as well as surrounding furnishings like a bench and small metal and glass tables. The space is further enriched by a selection of pieces from Poliform’s collections: the ICS, Ube, and Ventura stools; Stanford Bridge chairs; Mad Chair, Grace, Guest, and Le Club armchairs; the Saint-Germain sofa in its boomerang version; as well as the Kensington table, Orbit, Dama, and Soori coffee tables, the Mathieu writing desk, the Audrey mirror, and the Ubik wardrobe. The rooftop terrace features the outdoor collection, with Magnolia seating and the Monolith table taking center stage.
