The German magazine Schoener Wohnen award Alea by Varenna for best kitchen of 2008. Family Baur, who chose Alea as kitchen for their new house in Monaco, won the first prize of the important competition organized by the magazine. Schoener Wohnen gathered different projects of kitchens developed by Monaco stores and a jury composed by journalist, editors and architects has declared winner kitchen Alea with the project realized by Varenna Cucina Viva for Corinne e Ulrich Baur. At the second place there is Alnofinn by Alno and at the third b3 by Bulthaup. Cucina Viva, store of Monaco - Innere Wiener Straße 13, realized a functional design project, that has satisfied the client’s search for a pure kitchen characterized by essential marks. For Mr and Mrs Baur minimalism is a way of living in which be reflected and kitchen Alea satisfy their demand, conquering jury’s goodwill. Alea, projected by Paolo Piva, is a kitchen of a rigorous design and maximum project freedom, of formal essential connotation, characterized by the absence of the handles and able to combine project versatility with maximum functionality. Once again Varenna with one of the must of its collection has been able to interpret a way of living and thanks to its ability of creating personalized solutions, has allowed readers to be reflected in a kitchen who is suitable for every Lifestyle.
