Kiev was the stage for a show of high design on May 15th. Inside the Poliform flagship store in the capitol of Ukraine, 10 important Ukrainian designers, reinterpreted the Vulcano table designed by Paola Navone. Everyone was provided a white small table as the delicate canvas to be painted giving space to the inspirations and the fantasy through colors, forms and images. Paola Navone, who personally judged and attended the event, enthusiastically handed out awards to the three best designers. To end the evening, all the designers and architects were given another opportunity, armed with pen and paper, to revisit and personalize the Vulcano table allowing for great creativity with surprising results All the competitors were awarded a diploma and the three winners with monetary awards that they can use on purchases at Poliform.
