Even this year Poliform confirms its particular attention to the art.Villa Olmo, built in the 1700’s, is one of the most prestigious mansions of the Como lake and will accommodate the event dedicated to the historic Russian avant-gardes from April 4th to July 26th, 2009. Thanks to the master-works of Vassily Kandinsky, Marc Chagall, Kazimir Malevic and Pavel Filonov the exhibition will retrace the large, influential wave of modern art that flourished in Russia from approximately 1890 to 1930.The curiosity of the exhibition of Villa Olmo this year is the reconstruction, in the smallest details of Marc Chagall’s room like in his hometown at Vitebsk. The room in which the famous Russian painter lived and worked will be provided with all his furniture pieces and accessories.
